Mir there are two types of encouragement for drinking, positive and negative. for example if you win a noble prize that would probably call for a celebration, hence beer. on the other hand if you find out that your have been lied to all your life and are actually have vietnamese parents and was given up for adoption for a pack of cigarettes and a playboy but nobody wanted to tell you untill you try to marry a vietnamese chick and find out through genetic testing that she is your sister, that might also call for a drink.
